I am very proud and honored to be the principal at Maple Lake High School and feel fortunate to work with the students, parents, staff, and community members in our district. Living in this community, I see first-hand the tremendous support provided to our school by our community.
Maple Lake Public Schools is an exceptional place to work and learn. Maple Lake High School has a strong tradition of high expectations for our students and staff. We have a strong and professional staff that pushes our students to excel. We offer a rigorous, relevant, and meaningful education to our students. In addition to top-notch academic programs, we provide numerous opportunities in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities for our students. The combination of our academic and extra-curricular activities provides an educational environment for our students that allows them to succeed in a welcoming, safe, and nurturing atmosphere.
In addition to a strong required curriculum, students at MLHS are offered a wide variety of elective courses that provide them opportunities to have a well-rounded and challenging academic experience. Maple Lake High School has teamed up with Southwest Minnesota State University and Lake Superior College to offer college credit to students taking courses taught by MLHS teachers. Current course offerings for college credit through Southwest Minnesota State University include: College English, College Speech, College Spanish, College Calculus, College Algebra, Trigonometry and Special Functions, and American National Government. Offerings through Lake Superior College include: Pre-Calculus, Psychology, and College Biology.
