Maple Lake Public Schools serves about 800 preschool through 12th grade students in a beautiful rural setting situated in the heart of central Minnesota lake region. Maple Lake is located 40 miles west of the Twin Cities and 30 miles southeast of St. Cloud. Maple Lake Irish extracurricular and co-curricular activities have enjoyed enormous success over the last several years. Our students have a history of scoring well on state assessments. 1.0 FTE Long-Term Substitute
Description:
1.0 FTE Long-Term Substitute (LTS) at Maple Lake Elementary. Assignment dates are February 1, 2025, through April 25, 2025.
Job Summary:
Plan, teach, and carry out all functions related to teaching 5th grade in an elementary classroom setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license as an Elementary teacher.
- Prefer previous teaching experience.
- Is available to teach for the duration of the assignment.
Working Conditions:
Classroom, office, lifting, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, keyboarding, etc.

SLP Posting 24-25 - Maple Lake Public Schools
Salary and benefits are based on the ISD 881 Master Agreement. Position to begin in the 2024-25 school year. The location and schedule are to be determined. Candidates must have a Master’s degree from an accredited program, a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association, and be licensed by the State of Minnesota. Maple Lake School District will consider candidates who are completing their clinical fellowship year.
Maple Lake’s Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing direct, indirect, and consultative speech and communication therapy services in accordance with a student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). The SLP works collaboratively with teachers, parents and other certified professionals to develop and implement IEPs to support student’s speech and language development. The SLP is an integral part to supporting Maple Lake’s Multi Tiered Systems of Support related to interventions for speech and language.

Join us as we head back to school! Maple Lake Elementary is looking for caring adults to serve with Minnesota Reading Corps or Minnesota Math Corps. You can help kids become successful in reading or math! You’ll work directly with students every school day, during school hours, August- June.

Tutors come from many backgrounds and include recent high school and college grads, career changers, stay- at- home parents and retirees. With training, support from onsite coaches and evidence- based strategies, Reading Corps and Math Corps tutors are well- equipped to change lives. No previous teaching experience necessary!
