Maple Lake High School competes in the always tough CMC Conference & Region 5A of the MSHSL. Maple Lake High School offers an exceptional variety of sports and activities throughout the year. In the fall we have Football (Section Champs 10, 11, 13 & 14) Volleyball (Section Champs 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 & Class AA State Champions in 2016 & 2017) and Cross Country (Girls Cross Country State Participant in 2017). We have had an excellent run in our fall sports over the past decade.

In the winter we offer Boys & Girls Basketball, Wrestling (Coop with Annandale), Gymnastics, Alpine skiing (Coop with Annandale, Litchfield), Boys Hockey (Coop with Monticello & Annandale), Girls Hockey (Coop with Buffalo), Swimming & Diving (Coop with Buffalo), 1-Act Play, Speech, Robotics and Junior High Knowledge Bowl. We have sent numerous individuals and teams to the state over the past 10 years.

In the spring Maple Lake offers Baseball (Section Champs 2016, 2017, 2018 & Class AA State Champions in 2018), Softball (Section Champs 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & Class AA State Champions in 2018), Boys & Girls Track (Section True Team Champs 2014, 2015, 2017) Girls Track also won the 2018 Section True Team Championship along with the Class A State True Team Championship, and a Boys & Girls Golf cooperative with Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted. Our spring teams have been very successful also, winning conference, section and even state championships in the past decade.

With an excellent coaching staff throughout our Co-Curricular programs, facilities 2nd to none for a school our size and a strong community spirit; Maple Lake High School has risen to become a Central Minnesota Conference power. We are a high quality school with exceptional co-curricular programs that help build tomorrow’s leaders.
