Maple Lake Public Schools serves about 800 preschool through 12th grade students in a beautiful rural setting situated in the heart of central Minnesota lake region. 1.0 FTE Superintendent Administrative Assistant
Job Summary:
Effectively support the functions and responsibilities of the Maple Lake School Board, Superintendent, and Business Manager. Relate well and effectively communicate with department supervisors, district staff, and the public. Manage and maintain efficient operations, notifications, and communications of the district business office as directed by the School Board, Business Manager, and Superintendent. Maintains confidentiality with personnel data, created or collected secure data, labor relations information, and strategies, and also works efficiently and accurately under tight time constraints.
Job Duties:
1. Performing general secretarial duties for the district office and Superintendent.
2. Assist the Superintendent in preparing board agendas and support materials.
3. Attend school board meetings and take and file school board minutes.
4. Maintain accurate and timely web page management for the District pages.
5. Performing General Election clerk duties.
6. Order supplies for the district.
7. Prepare and disseminate the District yearly calendar sent to all district residents.
8. Conduct the 0-5-year-old census yearly.
9. Prepare payroll information and bills for the business manager to process and distribute checks once they are printed.
10. School lunch account management.
11. Manage District Orders and check-in packages.
12. Receive and process Open Enrollment information.
13. Community Education billing.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and Business Manager.
Qualifications:
Excellent communications and human relations skills, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and initiative; demonstrates teamwork and collaborative skills, competent with number and mathematical formulas, spelling, grammar, and business communications. Experience with computer word processing, databases, and spreadsheet applications is preferred.
Pay Range: $35,516.88 - $42,000.00 No. Days: 261/8Hrs

Maple Lake Elementary has a 2023-2024 school year vacancy for a 1.0 fte K-6 Elementary Music/Band instructor.
Maple Lake High School is seeking applications for a full-time K-6 Elementary Music/Band instructor beginning with the 2023-2024 school year. Coaching and advising opportunities are available.
A Bachelor’s Degree and possession of, or the ability to obtain, a teaching license from the State of Minnesota is required.
This 1.0 FTE position has a 181-day contract. Maple Lake Public Schools offer a competitive salary and benefits package, with a beginning salary dependent upon education, qualifications, and experience.

1.0 FTE ADSIS Teacher
Maple Lake Elementary is seeking a 1.0 fte ADSIS teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates must have an MN Elementary Education license.
The purpose of the Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instructional Services (ADSIS) Teacher is to provide instruction and assist students who need additional academic and/or behavioral support to succeed in the general education classroom. The goal is to reduce the number of referrals to special education by providing early intervention to struggling students.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to teach math, reading, writing, and behavior skills to K-6 students. Data collection, organizational skills, discipline techniques, and strong communication skills are desired.

Salary and benefits are based on the ISD 881 Master Agreement. Position to begin in the 2023-24 school year. The location and schedule are to be determined. Candidates must have completed an approved Certification or Associate Degree program as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
A speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) is responsible for providing direct, indirect, and consultative speech/communication therapy services in accordance with a student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). The speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) also adapts school and classroom environments, tools, and materials in collaboration with the Speech Language Pathologist to improve student communication.

Join us as we head back to school! Maple Lake Elementary is looking for caring adults to serve with Minnesota Reading Corps or Minnesota Math Corps. You can help kids become successful in reading or math! You’ll work directly with students every school day, during school hours, August- June.
