    Custodian II Position

    ISD #881 in Maple Lake is seeking a full time Custodian II position.  Duties include building cleaning and maintenance.  Hours: 1:00 p.m.-9:00p.m. during school year and 7 a.m.- 3 p.m. during summer; 40 hours/week; 250 workdays/year, year round.  Benefits include: health and life insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays and enrollment in pension plan.  Preference for applicants with boilers license or willing to obtain.  Salary as per 2017-19 Support Staff Master agreement, pay scale II, DOQ, available to view on our website.

    Elementary Assistant Secretary

    Position available immediately for elementary school assistant secretary:  8 hrs/day, 222 days per year.     ECFE Licensed Educator (part-time) – Annandale and Maple Lake Community Education

    Located in the Maple Lake Public Schools

    Responsible to plan, manage, and implement developmentally appropriate, research-based curriculum and culturally relevant learning activities that address and assess all early childhood indicators of progress domains in a safe and enriching learning activities. The ECFE instructor will work within the Early Learning Team to build parent and student skills in such a way that promotes high level outcomes for all. The ECFE instructor will teach 1 ECFE Class per week in the mornings from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM.

    Qualifications: ·Current Minnesota Teaching License in Early Childhood and Parent Education is strongly preferred. ·Minimum of two year experience working with infants, toddlers and/or preschool age children and their parents preferred ·Superb written, oral and interpersonal skills ·Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, district staff. ·Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail ·Knowledge of Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress birth to three and preschool.


    BA or BS Degree and current Minnesota Teaching license in: Early Childhood Family Educator, Parent Education, Elementary Education or School Social Worker, or willing to obtain a Community Expert license.

    Minnesota Math Corps or Reading Corps Tutor

    Position title: Math Tutor – Minnesota Math Corps


                          Reading Tutor – Minnesota Reading Corps

    Join us as we head back to school! Maple Lake Elementary is looking for caring adults to serve with Minnesota Reading Corps or Minnesota Math Corps. You can help kids become successful in reading or math! You’ll work directly with students every school day, during school hours, August- June.

    • Elementary Literacy Tutor
    • Math Enrichment Tutor

    Tutors come from many backgrounds and include recent high school and college grads, career changers, stay- at- home parents and retirees. With training, support from onsite coaches and evidence- based strategies, Reading Corps and Math Corps tutors are well- equipped to change lives. No previous teaching experience necessary!
